The SBI PRIME is a well-rounded mid-premium card with mostly uncapped 5X-10X earning across everyday lifestyle categories, a strong 8 domestic plus 4 international lounge package, and useful vouchers, with the Rs. 2,999 fee waived at Rs. 3 lakh spend. The 0.25-per-point value, Rs. 99 redemption fee and 3.5% forex markup are the main drawbacks.

It makes the most sense if your spending matches family lifestyle spender and domestic and occasional international traveller.
It earns a base reward rate of 0.5% and stacks best when your spending lines up with Family lifestyle spender, Domestic and occasional international traveller. The renewal fee gets easier to justify once you can hit ₹3,00,000 in yearly spend.

Milestone Benefits
Pizza Hut e-voucher worth Rs. 1,000 on cumulative card spends of Rs. 50,000 or more in a calendar quarter. Voucher must be redeemed within 6 months of receiving the communication (see top-level conflicts re: the MITC's Pizza Hut annexure attributing a Rs. 500 version of this milestone specifically to 'Prime Pro' cardholders).

Renewal fee of Rs. 2,999 + GST is waived if cumulative spends of Rs. 3,00,000 or more are made in the preceding cardmembership year.
